Thanks to Jonathan Fisher’s “BlackBerry Web Shortcuts 2.1.0″ the long browsing method is a thing of the past.  The solution to have links to websites from your BlackBerry homescreen/desktop – one click launching of your 6 favourite sites without having to go through the browser bookmarks (involving several clicks and scrolls).

[WARNING - do not attempt to install this on a pre4.2 device by using the javaloader utility, I’ve had a report that installing on a 4.1 device caused a major issue - you’ve been warned - the app is perfectly safe if installed by the normal ota method on 4.2 or later devices]
